Bath Road Heronry

View one of Ohio's largest birds, the great blue heron, during peak nesting season from around Valentine's Day to mid-June. These birds stand 4-feet tall with a wingspan of seven feet, and return each spring to lay eggs and care for their young. Stop by the wayside station off Bath Road to learn more about these beautiful birds and view their nests. Don't forget your binoculars!
