Deck the Hollow Holiday Lights Walk presented by Stark Parks (first 2 weekends in December)

Safely ring in the season with decorated trees, lights, and festive music. Kids can drop off their letters to Santa and see St. Nick! Animal ambassadors will be available for viewing, and guests will be sent home with a make-your-own ornament and a special treat for Santa’s crew!

Free registration is required. Groups of 25 will be allotted to assure safe distancing and time to enjoy the festivities. Deck the Hollow is an outdoor experience. Please dress for the weather. Learn More and Register.

Tuscarawas County Parks Department presents theMcDonnell Towpath Trailhead Trash Trek (December 26, 2020)

Join the Tusc Parks and participate in the Adopt-A-Trail program for the Ohio & Erie Canalway Towpath Trail on the Tuscarawas county line at the McDonnell trail-head. Upon development of the trail from McDonnell to Bolivar in 2020, we plan to adopt the trail through to Fort Laurens trailhead. Please bring gloves and any tools that may help. Long sleeve shirts are recommended. We'll provide water, trash bags. Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to helping to make our trail gateway to Tuscarawas county litter-free! Cleveland Metroparks Virtual Centennial Trail 5k (through January 18, 2021)

In its third year, the race will be held virtually, offering participants an opportunity to choose a time and location to walk or run in support of Cleveland Metroparks growing trail network. Participation is open through January 18. Learn More and Register.
